PARAGOULD, Ark. — A two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle led to the temporary closure of U.S. Highway 412 in Paragould on Thursday afternoon.
According to Captain Jason Elms with the Paragould Police Department, the incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Rosewood Drive. Police responded to the scene and shut down the roadway to ensure public safety and allow for emergency operations.
Authorities confirmed that injuries were reported in the crash. A medical helicopter was dispatched to transport at least one individual for treatment. Officials have not released further details about the condition of those involved.
The highway reopened to traffic at approximately 3 p.m.
