Several streets in downtown Jonesboro will temporarily close this weekend for the annual Downtown Jonesboro BBQ Fest.
The closures will begin at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, and roads are scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, according to city officials. Affected streets include:
- Main Street - Union Street - Church Street
The BBQ Fest will take place on Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing a variety of attractions to the area. Residents and visitors can enjoy barbecue, live music, food trucks, and numerous vendors. Admission to the event is free.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and exercise caution near the festival area during the closures.
