A seasoned musician with over five decades of experience, James Michael McLeod is set to perform at Hardy Homesteaders Day on Saturday, September 26. The event will take place at Loberg Park in Hardy, where McLeod will entertain audiences from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the Mini Stage.
McLeod, known to many simply as "Mike," is a versatile artist proficient in guitar, harmonica, and vocals. His repertoire includes a diverse mix of classic rock, country folk, blues, gospel, and more, attracting audiences at numerous venues, including restaurants, churches, private events, and festivals. Notable performances in McLeod's career include appearances at the Arkansas State Fair, the Cave City Watermelon Festival, and the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View. In addition, he has contributed background harmonica for artist Lauren Richmond.
As a retired educator with 52 years of teaching experience, McLeod has also used his talents to enrich the Hardy community over the years. His upcoming performance at Hardy Homesteaders Day is expected to reflect the depth and variety of his musical style, honed through decades of both professional and local performances.
