The North Central Arkansas District Fair is in full swing at the fairgrounds in Melbourne, offering a range of competitive events and a livestock exhibition.
Organizers have outlined specific check-in times for livestock exhibitors. Meat goat and lamb exhibitors can check in on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. or Wednesday morning during the same hours. Hog exhibitors are scheduled to arrive either Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. or Thursday morning between 6 and 10 a.m. Check-in for beef cattle will be held Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. or Friday morning from 6 to 8 a.m. All beef cattle exhibitors should use the lower gate for access.
The Arkansas Department of Health will conduct livestock health inspections at a station set up at the lower entrance of the fairgrounds. Exhibitors are encouraged to ensure all necessary health documentation is in order before arriving.
