A series of confrontations in Franklin has resulted in multiple charges against 47-year-old Brian Parenteau. According to authorities, Parenteau was involved in an altercation outside a residence in Franklin, followed by another encounter with law enforcement that escalated into violence.
Parenteau faces charges of second-degree terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct, third-degree battery, and resisting arrest. During the attempted arrest, deputies say Parenteau attacked an officer, leading to an additional charge of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
