A 62-year-old Ash Flat man was airlifted to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, after a motorcycle accident in Baxter County Thursday night.
According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, the man, whose identity has not been released, lost control of his motorcycle on Arkansas Highway 341. Authorities stated the motorcycle slid across the center line and came to rest in the opposite lane.
The report indicated the man was disoriented at the scene and unable to provide officers with a statement about the incident. He was cited for failing to maintain control of the vehicle.
