Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services will host a free Green Burial Seminar on Thursday, October 2, at noon at Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Gassville. The cemetery is located at 910 Tucker Cemetery Road.
Jason Kirby, an advance planning specialist, will serve as the event's guest speaker. He will discuss green burial practices, their environmental and personal benefits, and the options available for those considering this approach. Kirby will also provide details about advance funeral planning, highlighting how preparing ahead of time can assist families in managing the process more smoothly.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Kirby after the seminar, enjoy lunch, participate in a door prize drawing, and tour Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Free informational packets will also be distributed to attendees to take home.
