The First National Bank of Commerce has made a $7,500 contribution to the Williams Works program at, officials at the university announced. Kim Long, vice president of BSA/AML at the bank, presented the check to WBU President Dr. Stan Norman during a recent meeting.

"Students in Williams Works are earning their way to a great education and preparing to be wonderful additions to the workforce, and donors like First National are making it possible."
The Williams Works program offers students a structured pathway to graduate without student debt. Under the program, participants work 16 hours each week during the fall and spring semesters, earning full coverage for their tuition and student service fees. Students can also choose to work full-time during the summer to cover their room and board, further reducing their financial burden while completing their education.
