Metallica will bring its M72 World Tour to Fayetteville next year, with the legendary heavy metal band scheduled to perform at Razorback Stadium on May 26, 2027.
Fayetteville is one of 12 North American cities announced as stops on the tour. Supporting acts for the North American dates will include Limp Bizkit and Avatar.
Ticket sales for Metallica fan club members were scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 21, at 10 a.m. Local presales will follow from Sunday, September 24, at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. General ticket sales are set to open on Monday, September 25, at 10 a.m. Ticket information and purchase options are available on Metallica’s official website.
Metallica, celebrated for hits spanning decades, has won 10 Grammy Awards and reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart 14 times. The band’s 2027 North American tour will begin on May 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, before moving to other cities, including San Diego; El Paso; San Antonio; Kansas City; Raleigh; Indianapolis; Buffalo; Madison; Cleveland; and Salt Lake City.
Razorback Stadium, primarily known as the home of the Arkansas Razorbacks football team, has become a notable concert venue in recent years. Garth Brooks performed there in 2022, and earlier this year, Post Malone and Jelly Roll brought their music to the stadium.
The M72 World Tour marks another significant concert event for the Fayetteville area, drawing music fans from across the region.
