The annual STEAMFest will return to the Arkansas State University Museum in Jonesboro on Saturday, Oct. 10, welcoming attendees for an afternoon of interactive activities centered on science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering opportunities for visitors to engage with problem-solving, experimentation, artistic exploration, and creative play. Activities will be set up throughout the museum and its grounds, allowing participants to create art, explore scientific processes, experiment with engineering, and even “make plants sing.”
“We’re most creative when we’re playing,” said Jill Kary, curator of education at the A-State Museum. “In other words, true genius happens when we allow ourselves to fail without fear.”
The museum encourages attendees of all ages and backgrounds to join in the hands-on learning environment. Participation is free and open to the public.
