The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released details of recent arrests for the week of September 14 to September 21, 2026. Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson provided the information, listing individuals arrested on various charges across the county.
Janie Baltz, 64, of Pocahontas, was taken into custody on charges of public intoxication. Selena Evans, 30, of Hardy, faced multiple charges including endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and refusing to submit to testing.
James Goldman, 43, of Cave City, was arrested for the manufacture of a Schedule VI controlled substance. Morgan Kirk, 30, of Sidney, was detained on a body attachment. Keith McClay, 46, of Arkansas, was arrested on a parole or probation hold.
Jason O’Brien, 53, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with possessing fictitious tags and less than four ounces of a Schedule VI controlled substance. Venon Reiley, 52, of Cherokee Village, was involved in two charges: third-degree battery and public intoxication. Levi Russell, 24, of Walnut Ridge, was also arrested for public intoxication.
Hunter Schreurs, 29, of Cherokee Village, was taken into custody for violating a protection order. Stewart Smith, 56, also of Cherokee Village, faced charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Nicholas Tomei, 24, of Henderson, was charged with theft of property valued between $1,000 and $5,000. Lastly, Colton Walls, 37, of Hardy, was detained on a body attachment.
These arrests reflect a range of allegations, including drug offenses, public disturbances, and issues involving protective orders. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
