The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly incarceration report, detailing arrests made in the past week. Sheriff Charley Melton stated that all listed individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Brian Parenteau, 47, of Franklin, was arrested on September 15 and faces multiple charges, including second-degree terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct, third-degree battery, resisting arrest, and two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
Two arrests were made on September 16 for domestic battery in the third degree. James Curtis, 47, and Stephin Curtis, 22, both of Horseshoe Bend, were taken into custody on separate incidents.
Christopher Thomas, 45, of Sage, was arrested on September 17 on a warrant issued by the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
On September 20, Elijah Sikes, 21, of Hardy, was arrested on an Izard County District Court warrant for third-degree assault.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that all charges will proceed through the judicial system, where each case will be adjudicated based on the evidence presented in court.
