The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a Level 3 sex offender has established residency at 438 Pleasant Ridge Road in Oxford. Joel Griffith, 51, registered his new address with authorities as required by law. Records indicate Griffith was previously convicted in Missouri on three counts of sexual misconduct.
Level 3 offenders are classified as having a high risk of reoffending, according to state guidelines. These individuals are deemed to exhibit violent and predatory tendencies. Officials encourage residents to remain vigilant and stay informed about individuals in their community through the Arkansas Crime Information Center’s Sex Offender Registry.
