The Highland Band Boosters are hosting their Fall Festival today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the A.L. Hutson Center in Highland. The event is open to all ages and aims to provide an afternoon of family-friendly fun while supporting the Highland Band program.
Co-Band Director Hope Brunner says attendees will be able to participate in a variety of games and activities. Tickets, priced at just 25 cents each, can be purchased in any quantity and redeemed to play games or win prizes. Among this year’s features is an old-fashioned cakewalk, a highlight of the festival.
The festival serves as a fundraiser for the Highland Band program, which has earned state championship recognition. Proceeds from the event will help support the band’s ongoing programs and activities.
The A.L. Hutson Center is located in Highland, and organizers encourage residents and families to come out and show their support.
