A Baxter County Circuit Court jury has convicted Ryan James Lindsey in connection to the 2017 killing of 35-year-old Cody Stradford, sentencing him to life in prison without the possibility of parole. In addition to the life sentence, Lindsey received an additional 15 years in prison and was fined $12,500.

The jury deliberated for just over an hour, beginning at 2:04 p.m. and returning with their verdict at 3:15 p.m. Circuit Judge Andrew Bailey presided over the case and formally sentenced Lindsey on charges of capital murder, kidnapping, second-degree battery, and arson.

Stradford’s death occurred nearly six years ago, and Lindsey’s trial marks the conclusion of a lengthy legal process in the high-profile case. Further details about the case were expected to be outlined by KTLO on Saturday morning.
