The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) has started paving a section of Marion County Road 8060, located north of Flippin. To manage traffic during the construction, temporary traffic lights have been installed to regulate the flow of vehicles along the affected stretch of roadway.
ARDOT urges drivers pulling out of driveways along this route to carefully observe the direction of traffic before entering the road. The current phase of the project is expected to conclude by Friday, according to the agency.
The paving work is part of a state aid road project aimed at improving infrastructure in Marion County.
