An 18-year-old Pocahontas resident has been arrested and faces multiple charges linked to several burglaries and break-ins reported in the area.

Tristen Holifield is currently being held at the Randolph County Detention Center and has been charged with theft of property, theft by receiving a firearm, and felony breaking or entering. Local authorities say the charges are connected to break-ins that occurred in October of last year.

This is not Holifield’s first encounter with law enforcement. He was previously arrested in April and charged with several offenses, including being a minor in possession, theft by receiving, criminal trespassing, obstructing governmental operations, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holifield was arrested again last month and remains in custody while awaiting a bond hearing. No additional details about the most recent charges or pending court dates have been released.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation. Further updates on this case are expected as proceedings continue.
