A six-month investigation by the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force concluded last week with the arrest of a Mountain Home woman found in possession of a significant quantity of methamphetamine.
Victoria Sean Watts, 33, was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Calico Rock. According to law enforcement officials, Watts was pulled over after allegedly crossing the center line of a road. During the stop, officers discovered 212 grams, or nearly half a pound, of methamphetamine packaged in individual baggies inside a pouch located in the back seat of her 2023 Mercedes-Benz.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Department, working alongside the Drug Task Force, also seized digital scales and other drug paraphernalia reportedly linked to drug distribution. Additionally, $500 in cash and Watts’ Mercedes-Benz were confiscated, as authorities allege the vehicle was used in connection with methamphetamine trafficking.
Watts, a probationer with a warrantless search waiver on file, now faces charges including trafficking a controlled substance—classified as a Class Y felony in Arkansas—and possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony. She is also subject to a penalty enhancement as a habitual offender. Under Arkansas law, a Class Y felony carries a mandatory sentence of 10 to 40 years or life in prison upon conviction.
Authorities confirmed that Watts has a prior felony arrest in Baxter County in 2024. Her bond in this case has been set at $150,000.
