A Bradford teenager has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash earlier this month in Independence County, according to Arkansas State Police.
Robert Colvin, 19, died on the evening of Sept. 5 when the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway on State Highway 25 near Charlotte. According to a preliminary crash report, Colvin was traveling westbound in a 2018 Ram pickup when the vehicle veered off the north side of the highway.
The truck struck a creek embankment, overturned, and caught fire upon impact. Investigators noted that weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, which occurred around 7:35 p.m.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
