An unidentified man from Izard County, Arkansas, was injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in central Missouri, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on Missouri Route TT in Camden County. Authorities said the 37-year-old man, a resident of the Sage community in Izard County, failed to negotiate a curve, causing him to lose control and be ejected from his motorcycle.
The rider was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of moderate injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, which does not release the names of crash victims, is handling the investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
