JONESBORO — The Delta Center for Economic Development at Arkansas State University has begun accepting applications for the Northeast Arkansas Regional Leadership Accelerator Academy, a year-long leadership development initiative aimed at fostering collaboration and addressing regional challenges.
The program brings together leaders from across business, education, healthcare, government, and nonprofit sectors in Northeast Arkansas's 17-county region. Participants will engage in six day-long sessions focused on building practical leadership skills, including communication, strategic planning, mentorship, and managing under pressure. The academy also encourages collaboration across diverse backgrounds, strengthening regional networks, and equipping leaders to make an immediate difference in their organizations and communities.
Andrea Allen, executive director of the Delta Center for Economic Development, stated, “The Northeast Arkansas Regional Leadership Accelerator Academy is built for leaders who want to make a tangible difference. By investing in the growth of our region’s leaders, we are investing in the long-term success of Northeast Arkansas.”
Organizers welcome applications from professionals aged 21 and older who live or work in Northeast Arkansas and are committed to leadership and community impact. Applications are due by Friday, Nov. 13, with selected participants notified later in November. The next cohort is set to begin sessions in January.
