Salem residents are invited to take part in a community-wide fall yard sale scheduled for Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27. This annual event encourages participants to clean out closets, storage spaces, and yards to showcase items for sale.
In conjunction with the community-wide effort, the Salem VFW Auxiliary will host a large collective yard sale at the VFW Post in Salem on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28. Individuals, families, and local organizations are welcome to join this event by setting up their items for sale. Space will be available both indoors—within the air-conditioned VFW building—and outside, where tents and trailers can be accommodated.

Concessions will be available at the VFW yard sale, with proceeds benefiting local veterans and their families in Fulton County. Organizers encourage all community members to participate in the sale, either as sellers or shoppers, and to support the veterans' fundraiser while browsing for bargains.
