The Mountain Home Lady Bombers volleyball team is set to face the Greenwood Bulldogs on Wednesday evening in a 5A-West conference matchup at The Hangar. The event, branded as 'Exceptional Athletes Night,' will include recognition of Special Olympians from the Mountain Home School District.
The evening will feature competition at multiple levels, with the 9th grade, junior varsity, and varsity teams all in action. The recognition ceremony for Special Olympians is scheduled to take place between the junior varsity and varsity matches.
The Arkansas Activities Association has issued a directive regarding fan seating, prompting the relocation of the Bomber Boom Squad, the school’s spirit group, from the student section to a sideline area behind the Lady Bombers’ bench.
Fans attending the event are encouraged to wear neon attire to show their support.
The first match is set to begin at 4:30 p.m., with activities continuing throughout the evening.
