The Mountain Home community has found a heartfelt way to honor the late Coach Don Webb by launching an auction to support scholarships in his memory. The Coach Don Webb Memorial Scholarship Auction is scheduled for October 2, during Mountain Home’s Homecoming Week. Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships through the Mountain Home Education Foundation.
Two significant items that belonged to the beloved coach will be up for auction: his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup and his 2019 Supreme L42 boat. The truck, a white regular cab with four-wheel drive, features a V6 4.3L engine and automatic transmission. The boat includes an EZ Loader Trailer, a 15-horsepower four-stroke Mercury motor, a custom cover, seats, and wells.
In preparation for the auction, the truck was detailed by Richie’s Mobile Detailing, and the boat received detailing services from Rob Williams. Those interested in bidding can view the items currently parked outside KTLO on Highway 5 North. The vehicle and boat will also be displayed at additional locations around the city leading up to the auction.
Bidders can place bids and inquire about the auction by contacting KTLO at 870-425-3101. The truck and boat are being auctioned separately, and updates on bid statuses can also be accessed through KTLO.
Coach Don Webb was a fixture in the Mountain Home community for decades, known for his dedication to supporting students and athletes alike. This auction provides an opportunity for residents to celebrate his legacy while contributing to the future of local students.
