In memory of longtime Mountain Home coach Don Webb, his boat and truck will be auctioned during Mountain Home High School’s Homecoming Week, with proceeds slated to fund scholarships through the Mountain Home Education Foundation. The auction, scheduled for October 2, presents an opportunity for the community to honor Webb's lasting legacy while supporting future students.
The two items will be auctioned separately. Bidders can place offers on either the boat or truck. The boat package includes a 2019 Supreme L42 with a 15 HP four-stroke Mercury motor, an Eazy Loader trailer, and a custom-made cover. The fair market value (FMV) of the boat is listed at $12,000, with a minimum bid set at $6,000.
The second auction item is Coach Webb’s 2005 white Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab pickup truck. The truck features a 4.3-liter V6 engine, automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and approximately 149,665 miles. The vehicle's FMV is $8,000, with a minimum bid of $5,000.
In preparation for the auction, Rob Williams and Richie’s Detailing contributed by cleaning and detailing both items. Organizers extended appreciation to them for supporting this community effort.
The auction proceeds will directly benefit the Mountain Home Education Foundation, funding scholarships created in Webb’s memory to commemorate his influence on students, athletes, and families in the Mountain Home community.
