Residents along a portion of the Flippin Waterworks system are being advised to boil their water following a main break. According to officials, the affected area stretches from Twin Lakes Therapy to the Senior Center.
Water in this area may be unsafe for consumption and should be boiled vigorously for at least one minute to ensure safety before drinking or use in food preparation. Officials also recommend discarding any ice made from tap water.
The boil water order will remain in place until further notice while the situation is assessed and necessary repairs are completed.
