Sharp County Sheriff's Office Releases Weekly Arrest Report

The Sharp County Sheriff's Office has released its weekly arrest summary, detailing the detention of 13 individuals from September 7 to September 14. Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson provided the roster of those arrested on various charges across the county.

Among those listed is Vickie Barron, 50, of Williford, who faces charges of third-degree domestic battering. Kevin DeLeon, 35, of Marietta, South Carolina, was arrested for driving without a license.

Jody Dement, 39, of Jonesboro, was taken into custody for failing to appear in court regarding a misdemeanor charge of lacking proof of liability insurance. Similarly, Amanda Hicks, 40, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for failing to appear on charges related to driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Charles Ivey, 69, of Hardy, faces charges of first-degree criminal mischief and unlawfully removing or failing to charge an electronic monitoring device. Michael Koch, 29, of Hamilton, Missouri, was arrested for possession of less than four ounces of a Schedule VI controlled substance and was also held for another county or state.

Dennis Morris, 66, of Pocahontas, was detained while awaiting arrest documents. James Pillips, 28, of Rison, was arrested on a parole or probation violation.

John Rosser, 20, of Cherokee Village, was charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal use of a prohibited weapon. William Rutledge, 21, of Williford, faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance under four ounces, and public intoxication.

Jeannie Sisco, 45, of Hardy, was arrested for failing to appear in court for a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge, while Jeri Slarrow, 49, of Bloomfield, was charged with criminal trespass in or on a vehicle, structure, or premises.

Lastly, Amanda Thompson, 45, and Nathan Thompson, 40, both of McCrory, face charges of theft by receiving property valued between $5,000 and $25,000, as well as trafficking controlled substances.
