An 18-year-old from Pocahontas was taken into custody Saturday on charges related to a probation revocation. According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Tristen Holifield was arrested after a bench warrant for his arrest was issued on September 10.
Holifield is currently being held at the Randolph County Detention Center awaiting further court proceedings.
This is not Holifield’s first encounter with law enforcement. Records show he was arrested in October 2025 and charged with theft of property, theft by receiving (firearm), and felony breaking or entering. He was arrested again in Randolph County in April 2026 on charges that included minor in possession, theft by receiving, criminal trespassing, obstructing governmental operations, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Later in 2026, Holifield faced additional charges in Randolph County, including third-degree assault and trespassing.
The sheriff's office has not announced a date for Holifield’s next court hearing.
