A rural Williford woman has been arrested following a domestic altercation at her home earlier this week, according to the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call at the residence on Tuesday, where 50-year-old Vickie Jean Barron was questioned about the incident. Following the investigation, authorities took Barron into custody and charged her with third-degree domestic battery, a misdemeanor under Arkansas law.
Barron was later released after posting bond. She is scheduled to appear in Sharp County District Court on November 5 to face the charges.
