The Mountain Home sports community is gearing up for a packed week of activities, with events spanning multiple sports and age groups.

On Sunday, September 13, swim team parents will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Mountain Home High School cafeteria.

Monday, September 14, will feature two volleyball matchups as Mountain Home hosts Yellville-Summit in 7th-grade B, 7th-grade A, and 8th-grade divisions starting at 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, football kicks off with the 7th-grade team hosting Harrison at 5 p.m., and the 8th-grade and junior varsity teams traveling to Farmington for games starting at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, September 15, will see 7th-grade football players taking Wingard Pictures before heading off to Russellville. The Bombers' tennis teams face Russellville and Van Buren on the road at 3:30 p.m. Volleyball also takes the court with a variety of matches: the 9th-grade, junior varsity, and varsity teams will play at home against Greenwood starting at 4:30 p.m., while the 7th- and 8th-grade teams travel to West Plains for 5 p.m. games.

On Thursday, September 17, Mountain Home athletes will tackle a wide slate of competitions. Golfers will travel to Fort Smith for a conference play day at Ben Geren Golf Course. Tennis will head to Siloam Springs for matches beginning at 3:30 p.m. Cross country competitors will participate in the Clint Pevril Invitational at Arkansas State University in Mountain Home. In volleyball, the 9th-grade, junior varsity, and varsity squads will go up against Siloam Springs on the road at 4:30 p.m. Football will round out the day with the 9th-grade team playing Little Rock Parkview away, while the 8th-grade squad faces Lacey Academy at J.A. Fair Field in Little Rock, with games starting at 5 p.m.
