A Pocahontas man was arrested Friday night after reportedly fleeing from law enforcement and now faces multiple felony charges.
Trae Harris, 19, was taken into custody by the Pocahontas Police Department and booked into the Randolph County Sheriff’s Detention Center. Authorities have filed several charges against Harris, including felony fleeing by vehicle with extreme indifference, theft of a motor vehicle, and two counts of aggravated assault, classified as Class D felonies. Additionally, Harris has been charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) for drugs and reckless driving, according to police records.
Harris is being held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Detention Center as he awaits a bond hearing and a court date, which have not yet been scheduled, according to officials.
