A driver was killed in a fiery crash on State Highway 25 near Charlotte on the evening of Sept. 5, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. when a westbound 2018 Ram pickup left the north side of the roadway, struck a creek embankment, and overturned. The vehicle caught fire upon impact, killing the driver.
The fatality report from Arkansas State Police listed the victim as "John Doe," with the age not specified. The report noted that the driver’s next of kin had not been notified as of the time of reporting.
The crash occurred under clear weather and dry roadway conditions, according to state police.
