Operation Christmas Child is hosting a volunteer workshop this morning in Mountain Home. The event is designed as both a refresher for past participants and an introduction for those new to the project.
Shari Alexander, the North Central Arkansas regional coordinator for the organization, will lead the session. Attendees will learn more about the program’s mission and how they can get involved in supporting children in need through gift-filled shoeboxes.
The workshop begins at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. It will take place at the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 1209 East 9th Street in Mountain Home. For additional information, individuals are encouraged to contact organizers or attend the event.
