Horseshoe Bend residents are celebrating the return of a vital community resource with the reopening of Our Neighborhood Fresh Market. The store, located at the former site of the Diamond B Mall, was officially reopened this week, nearly one year after a fire destroyed the mall and left the town without a local grocery store.

On the evening of September 8, 2025, a fire swept through Diamond B Mall, reducing the structure to rubble and forcing many residents to travel to nearby towns for groceries and other necessities. The fire, reported around 6 p.m., was described as a total loss, impacting the small community profoundly.

The newly rebuilt market features fully stocked aisles and expanded offerings, including a full-service meat counter with fresh cuts available daily. The grand reopening on Saturday will include special promotions and community festivities. Sean Peer and the White River Now Road Crew are set to host a live remote broadcast from the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Our Neighborhood Fresh Market aims to once again serve as a central hub for the Horseshoe Bend community, providing fresh groceries and essential goods. Store hours and weekly specials are available on-site. The reopening marks a significant step forward in the town’s recovery from last year’s fire.

The market is located at the former Diamond B Mall site in Horseshoe Bend.
