Arkansas State University and Jonesboro-based Sany Nutrition Group have unveiled a new protein snack product, the Beyond Resilience x Red Wolves bar. The caramel chocolate-flavored protein crunch bar, which contains 15 grams of protein, will debut at 5 p.m. today during the Great A-State Tailgate in downtown Jonesboro, part of the university’s annual Paint the Town Red festivities.

The bars are manufactured locally at Sany Nutrition Group’s facility in the Craighead Technology Park and are being launched as a limited-edition product. Proceeds from their sale will go to support A-State’s Student Emergency Fund, which helps students who are facing significant financial challenges.

Dr. Erika Krennerich Chudy, vice chancellor for university advancement at A-State, emphasized the impact of the initiative. “The best partnerships are those that create an impact beyond the partners themselves,” she said. “Our students demonstrate resilience every day, but unexpected circumstances can sometimes create barriers to continuing their education. By supporting the A-State Student Emergency Fund, Sany Nutrition Group and Beyond Resilience are helping us provide critical support during those moments and helping our students stay on track toward earning their degrees.”

Angela Pernsteiner, an investor with Sany Nutrition Group, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “Our partnership with A-State brings Sany Nutrition Group’s local-for-local strategy to life,” she said. “Beyond Resilience is built around the belief that adversity does not define the future—it helps build it. Together, we want to show that a healthy lifestyle can still taste indulgent—and that hardship can become the foundation for greater resilience and future success in life, business, and sports.”
