A domestic disturbance at a residence in Hoxie has led to the arrest of Terrence Lavonne Twiggs of Jonesboro, authorities said.

Twiggs has been charged with several offenses, including third-degree domestic battery, fleeing on foot, criminal trespassing, interference with emergency communications, and violation of a no-contact order. He is also accused of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

Law enforcement confirmed that Twiggs was taken into custody and is being held at the Lawrence County Detention Center. He is currently awaiting a bond hearing and the scheduling of a court date.

These developments follow the reported domestic incident that prompted the charges. Police did not release further details surrounding the case as of press time.
