A 12-year-old child reported missing from South Carolina has been located safely in Arkansas, according to information from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the child was last seen on the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 8, in the area of Arnold Road and Highway 101 near Woodruff, South Carolina. The sheriff's office announced on Wednesday that the child had been found in Arkansas.
No additional details about the child's discovery or the circumstances of the case have been released as of this report.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone with information related to the investigation to contact Investigator Brandon Letterman at bletterman@spartanburgcounty.gov.
A press conference addressing the investigation was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Central Time and was set to stream online through K8 News.
