Paragould, Ark. — Paragould Forward has announced that its Fall Clean Sweep event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, giving residents an opportunity to clear trash from neighborhoods and safely dispose of large items and tires.

Volunteers interested in helping with the community-wide cleanup effort are encouraged to register in advance. Participants will gather behind the Greene County Courthouse, located at 320 W. Court St., according to Paragould Forward.

In addition to the cleanup activities, Greene County residents will have access to a designated drop-off site to dispose of tires and larger items. The drop-off site, also located behind the Greene County Courthouse, will operate on the following schedule: Thursday and Friday, Sept. 24-25, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon. Each resident may drop off up to four tires.
