JONESBORO, Ark. – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host a National Voter Registration Day event on Tuesday, Sept. 15, offering residents an opportunity to register for the upcoming general election in November.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the library, located at 315 W. Oak Avenue. Voter registration tables will be located near the main entrances of the lobby to assist attendees.
Rylie Yawson, marketing and public relations manager for the library, stated that representatives from the library, the League of Women Voters, and the American Association of University Women will be on hand to help with registration forms and answer any questions residents may have.
Completed registration forms will be collected throughout the event and submitted at the end of the day.
