Arkansas State University has partnered with GOJO to provide free transportation for students, faculty, and staff around the Jonesboro campus and surrounding community.

The initiative includes on-campus routes, Red Wolves 1 and 2, which offer consistent service around campus while connecting to Jonesboro’s broader public transit system. According to Lee Wells, GOJO’s director, the service is aimed at ensuring accessibility across key areas in the city. Riders can access the service at no cost with a valid A-State ID.

“This ever-growing partnership allows students, faculty, and staff to reliably navigate to Jonesboro’s many restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues free of charge,” said Ryan Brasher, GOJO marketing coordinator.

Additionally, GOJO will provide dedicated transportation for football fans on game days through the Red Wolves Express. The service aims to reduce traffic congestion and alleviate parking challenges.

“Transportation service will begin two hours before kickoff and continue until the start of the game. Service will resume at halftime and continue until 30 minutes after the final whistle,” Wells explained. Stops will include a downtown free parking lot on Cate Avenue at Church Street and select on-campus locations such as the Yard restaurant.

The Red Wolves Express will debut on September 12, during the university’s first home football game of the season. A-State students, faculty, staff, and children under the age of six can use the game-day service for free. Adult riders can purchase round-trip tickets for $4 or pay $2 per trip, while discounted rides are available for $1 to minors under 18, senior citizens, and passengers with disabilities.

Season passes are available for $20 per person, with reduced rates of $10 for Jonesboro city employees, students under 18, older adults, passengers with disabilities, and veterans. Tickets and passes can be obtained in advance at the Jonesboro Municipal Building.

To facilitate route planning, schedules, and stops, GOJO offers a mobile app available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Additional details are accessible online or by calling 870-935-5387.
