Sharp County authorities arrested 21-year-old William Rutledge on multiple charges, according to officials.
Rutledge was booked on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance, and public intoxication. He is being held at the Sharp County Detention Center.
A court date for Rutledge has been set for November 5.
