The Bull Shoals Planning and Zoning Commission has announced a public hearing scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. in City Hall, located at 706 CS Woods Boulevard. The meeting will address proposed changes to the Planning and Zoning Codes, along with updates to the Bull Shoals Comprehensive Plan.
A notable topic under discussion involves the clarification of permitted uses within the C-1 zoning designation to include food trucks as an alternative to traditional restaurants. Additionally, the commission will consider a requirement for property owners to submit a rezoning application promptly if a resort property ceases to operate as a resort and is not actively listed for sale.
The agenda also includes a discussion on regulations for tiny homes in Bull Shoals. Commissioners are set to review proposals regarding tiny homes on permanent foundations within residential zones, as well as guidelines for tiny homes on wheels in residential, commercial, RV parks, and mobile home parks.
