JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro residents are invited to take part in the city's September neighborhood cleanup this Saturday, Sept. 12, at Parker Park, located at 1506 N. Church St.
The cleanup event will run from 8 a.m. to noon and is open exclusively to city residents. Cardboard and glass recycling will be available on-site.
Free paper lawn bags will also be distributed by Keep Jonesboro Beautiful on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
The city expressed its gratitude to the Code Enforcement and Sanitation Departments as well as the Keep Jonesboro Beautiful Commission for their collaboration on the event. In a Facebook post, officials encouraged participation to help maintain the community's cleanliness and beauty: "It takes us all, and together, we can continue to keep Jonesboro beautiful!"
