A missing Pocahontas man was found safe Friday after a traffic crash in White County, according to Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell.

Sheriff Bell confirmed that Mack Calhoun, the subject of a Silver Alert issued earlier in the morning, was located around 11 a.m. in White County. Calhoun’s discovery followed a reported vehicle accident in the area.

Officials first reported Calhoun missing at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4. Details about the circumstances of the crash and Calhoun’s condition after the incident have not been released.
