(WALNUT RIDGE, Ark.) – The 11th annual Abbey Road Car Show in Walnut Ridge will feature expanded awards categories and welcomes participants on Saturday, Sept. 19, as part of the Beatles at the Ridge music festival.

The show, held downtown, will offer five awards this year, up from three in previous years, giving participants more chances to win. According to organizers, the awards include a “People’s Choice” component, with festival attendees voting across four age-based categories. Additionally, a new category has been added for trucks, which are defined as vehicles primarily designed for hauling cargo in an open or enclosed truck bed. SUVs and vans will not qualify unless specifically modified with a hauling bed.

The award categories for 2026 are as follows:

- Antique: Up to 1959 - Early Classic: 1960 to 1984 - Late Classic: 1985 to 2009 - Modern: 2010 and newer - Favorite Truck

Vehicles can begin lining up for the event at 9 a.m., with registration taking place near Walnut Ridge City Hall on NW 3rd Street. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle. The car show itself will be held on NW 3rd and West Walnut Streets, next to Regions Bank.

The Beatles at the Ridge festival will open at 10 a.m. and run throughout the day, culminating in a performance by the Liverpool Legends. The festival covers multiple city blocks north of Main Street in downtown Walnut Ridge and also features live music and other activities celebrating the Beatles' legacy.
