Mountain View is gearing up for a festive Labor Day weekend featuring four consecutive nights of live music and a variety of outdoor activities. The celebrations kick off Friday, September 4, and continue through Monday, September 7, offering both visitors and locals an opportunity to enjoy the holiday.
Live music will take center stage each evening on the historic town square, with performances beginning at 8 p.m. Aaron Owens will open the weekend with a concert on Friday, followed by Dixon Street on Saturday. On Sunday, the band 7 South is scheduled to perform, and the festivities will conclude Monday night with Sarah Jo Sample and The Tonedaddys.
Alongside the music, Mountain View invites guests to explore its scenic surroundings and join in outdoor activities such as hiking, trail walking, kayaking, and canoeing. The weekend also includes the Stone County Fair and opportunities to browse local shops in the downtown area.
