The Mountain Home Junior High School Bomber football teams achieved a clean sweep against Farmington on Thursday night, securing wins in a rare trio of games on the road.
The evening began with the 7th-grade Bombers earning a 16-0 shutout victory, improving their record to 2-0 for the season. The 7th-grade team will next face Jonesboro Annie Camp on September 24.
In the 8th-grade matchup, Mountain Home continued its winning momentum with a 24-6 victory over the Farmington Cardinals, bringing their season record to 1-1. The 8th-grade Bombers are scheduled to play again on September 10 against Paragould.
The night concluded with the 9th-grade Bombers securing a commanding 28-7 win, also improving to 2-0 on the season. Mountain Home’s freshman team will return to action on September 10 with a matchup against Paragould.
The sweep marked a successful evening for Mountain Home as all three teams came away with strong victories on the road.
