A 33-year-old woman from Mountain Home has been arrested following a months-long drug investigation that concluded with the discovery of nearly half a pound of methamphetamine and the seizure of her vehicle. Victoria Sean Watts was arrested this week in Calico Rock by law enforcement officers with the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities reported they confiscated 212 grams of methamphetamine, $560 in cash, and a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC300, which they allege was used in connection with methamphetamine trafficking. During the traffic stop that resulted in Watts’ arrest, officers reportedly found digital scales and other drug paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution.
According to officials, the arrest followed a nearly six-month investigation and was initiated when Watts was seen crossing the center line. As a probationer with a search waiver on file, her vehicle was searched. Investigators said the methamphetamine was found divided into individual baggies inside a pouch in the back seat.
Watts faces multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine—classified as a Class Y felony in Arkansas, the most serious standard criminal offense in the state. If convicted, a Class Y felony carries a mandatory sentence of 10 to 40 years or life in prison. She is also charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender. Her bond has been set at $150,000.
Court records show Watts was previously arrested in 2024 in Baxter County for crimes related to a break-in at storage units in Briarcliff. Those charges included breaking or entering, fleeing, theft of property, and criminal trespass, among others. She pleaded guilty to those charges and was sentenced to four years of probation.
The ongoing case serves as part of broader local efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region. The investigation involved cooperation between the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.
