A beginner line dance class will kick off Friday, Sept. 4, at the Mountain Home Community Center. The class is scheduled to run every Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. and is open to men and women of all experience levels. Organizers emphasized that no prior dance experience is needed.
The sessions will cover a variety of dances, including Choosin’ Texas, Going Blond, Broke, The Door, as well as waltzes and the cha cha. According to event organizers, line dancing offers participants a chance to meet new people while also providing benefits like improved balance, enhanced memory, and physical exercise.
To attend, participants must hold a membership with the community center or purchase a day pass. Space for the class is limited, and registration can be completed at the front desk either the day before or the day of the session. For additional details, interested individuals may contact the Mountain Home Community Center at 870-424-9311.
