Crowley’s Ridge College Sets Record for Enrollment Growth

PARAGOULD, Ark. — Crowley’s Ridge College announced record-breaking enrollment numbers for the fall 2026 semester, marking its seventh consecutive semester of growth. According to a college news release, the school set all-time highs in total headcount, full-time enrollment, and full-time equivalency this semester.

The total enrollment of 313 students surpasses the college’s previous record of 311, set in the spring of 2026. This fall’s enrollment also includes 192 full-time students, breaking the previous full-time enrollment record established in fall 2017. Residential enrollment saw a significant increase as well, rising to 136 students compared to 114 in fall 2025.

“These enrollment records are a tremendous blessing for Crowley’s Ridge College, and an encouraging sign of the confidence students and families are placing in CRC,” said Dr. Richard Johnson, the college’s president.

Dr. Johnson highlighted the importance of growth in full-time and residential enrollments, describing those students as central to the college's campus community. He credited the continued growth to the efforts of the admissions team, coaches, faculty, and staff, as well as the support of the broader community and the school’s dedication to offering a Christ-centered college experience.

This fall’s class includes 61 first-time freshmen and 40 undergraduate transfer students. Students hail from 28 states, with the majority—205 students—coming from Arkansas. Among the 313 enrolled, 191 students are pursuing associate or bachelor’s degrees, and 153 participate in athletics at the college.

Crowley’s Ridge College, which is located in Paragould, also serves 93 concurrent high school students through partnerships with schools in Paragould, Greene County, West Memphis, and Central Arkansas. Additionally, 27 students participate through the college’s partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

The record-setting semester underscores the enduring appeal of the college as it continues to grow and attract students from across the state and beyond.
